Tomorrow I will be leaving Israel for a brief vacation to neighboring Jordan with a good friend of mine from Chicago. While there are definitely ways to claim that the trip is research related, in truth, this is just for fun.
We will be taking the bus tomorrow morning down to Eilat where we will enter Jordan at the Wadi Araba border crossing. From Aqaba, we will take a bus up to Wadi Musa, next to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra for a day or two of sight-seeing. Then we will be going for the day to Amman, the Jordanian capital, to see what we can see. Come Friday morning, we will be returning to Israeli via the Allenby/King Hussein Bridge crossing.
Please excuse the lack of posts (and meaningful research) over the next few days. I promise that next week I will be back in action with more interviews, more research, and more updates.
